Summary: Imangi Studios seeks an enthusiastic and self-motivated Community Manager to connect our players with the development team behind Temple Run, Temple Run 2 in addition to community building and management for a new mobile game in development.  The ideal candidate will have experience engaging online communities across a variety of platforms from social (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to gamer-focused media (Twitch, etc.).  If you're a passionate gamer with a strong track record of managing communities, we'd love to talk.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate positive and supportive conversations within the player-base regarding content, updates, contests, information, and opportunities that will be of interest to the community.
  • Provide players with an authentic, trusted point of contact for their concerns and interests. Assist them to obtain answers and solutions wherever possible.
  • Work with customer service representatives to report, track, and resolve issues for players.
  • Act as the main liaison between players and developers.
  • Grow and engage Discord community.
  • Sort, triage, and funnel player issues that surface in the community to the proper place and escalation path (documentation in Confluence, marketing, individual developers, ops support, developer relations, licensing, Marketplace, etc.).
  • Regularly analyze and report community sentiment internally.
  • Maintain the Temple Run Facebook Fan Page and Super Fan Club.
  • Provide content to Fan Page and Super Fan Club with cadence to consistently engage and grow the community.
  • Assist in building and growing communities in Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc.
  • Support conversations on social media, in comment threads, and channels.
  • Develop a community strategy for Temple Run’s online presence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Journalism, English, Communications, Media, or related degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, flexible, and able to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • High comfort level with social media and online communications.
  • Well-versed in social management tools (ex: Sprout Social or Hootsuite) and key social media platforms (such as Facebook, Discord,Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Some direct experience managing a gaming community.
  • Experience managing or working with content creators.
  • Strong organization and project management skills, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to react quickly to changing situations and last-minute requests, always employing a positive and professional attitude.

Preferred Additional Experience:

  • One or more shipped titles in career experience
  • A personal passion for games (mobile games in particular)
  • Experience with CRM practices, JIRA/Agile methodologies, documentation via Confluence, Powerpoint, Photoshop a plus
  • Comfort with speaking in public and/or some level of on-camera experience
